NCOAsource (collectively with its subsidiaries and affiliates, the "Company", "we", or "us") respects your concerns about privacy and values its relationship with you. This privacy policy (this "Privacy Policy") applies to the network of websites operated by the Company, including our data processing and client services websites (each, a "Site", and collectively, the "Sites"), and describes our policy regarding the types of information we collect on our Sites.
Furthermore:
In fact, we do not collect personally identifying information about visitors to our websites at all, unless it is voluntarily and explicitly submitted (for example, when filling out a contact form, or setting up an account).
We do utilize "session cookies", however, as a means of identifying users at login and during the file upload process (because elements of the code require it). Session cookies, unlike tracking cookies, expire just as soon as you close your browser. Incidentally, for additional security all cookies sent and received on the NCOAsource.com site are encrypted using SSL.
If required by law, we may provide information we have about you to law enforcement or other government agencies, pursuant to a subpoena, bankruptcy proceedings, warrant, or other order by a court of competent jurisdiction or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request. In all cases, we will require written documentation of the request, proof of the identity of the law enforcement official making the request, and we will take steps to authenticate the validity of the request. Any law enforcement or government agency request submitted with less than a court-issued order will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis according to the need and urgency, as well as the particular law enforcement agency making the request.
In order to provide you with the services you have requested, we occasionally need to share information with third parties. We may transmit necessary information to service providers who may assist with services such as processing payment information, processing orders, shipping products to you, and/or fulfilling various information services. Their only role is to help us conduct our business and they are not permitted to use your information for any secondary purpose.
To prevent unauthorized use, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of information, NCOAsource has put in place appropriate physical, electronic and administrative procedures to safeguard and secure client information. Security measures have been integrated into the design, implementation, and day-to-day operations of our processing. NCOAsource meets or exceeds the requirements for the 12 Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Data Security Standards to ensure that all client data is secure.
Among other safeguards, we use advanced Secure Sockets Layer encryption to help protect transmissions over the internet of your payment card data as well as your file uploads. When uploading files for processing or submitting your payment information, you can confirm that SSL is being used by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure Site, the first characters of the Sites' address will change from "http" to "https". Furthermore, all passwords are salted and hashed, and can be changed by the user at any time. Additionally, fully redundant real-time data processing systems are employed adding superior reliability.
We hope you appreciate the steps we take to protect your privacy and data security. We take it seriously and most importantly we understand that it's your data, not ours. This is a big difference between us and other information providers. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have in this regard.
